November marks the start of Movember, an annual event involving the growing of moustaches to raise awareness of men’s mental health issues, as well as prostate and testicular cancer.
Globally, more than 1.4 million men are diagnosed with prostate cancer each year. Early detection is key. The difference between early detection and late detection can be life and death. To find out more on the facts about prostate cancer, prevention and treatment, click here.
During the month of November, all around the globe, our employees gathered to learn and help spread awareness about Movember, and in particular, prostate cancer.
This was a great opportunity for all of us to not only learn about the facts and the importance of early detection via self-exams or routine check-ups, but to raise money for Men’s cancer charities where we live and work.
No matter the location, all employees either grew a moustache or wore blue in solidarity and submitted many photos to commemorate their commitment to this important cause. We are proud to continue our work in this important space in efforts to eradicate this disease so that friends, family, and those we don’t even know need not suffer.
